Simon’s family have lived in Marlow since 1974, and he returned here in 1986 after working for four years in Australia after graduating. He became principal of his own practice at Princes Risborough between 1986 and 2005. It was during this time that he developed an interest in restorative dentistry, especially the management of failing dentistry.
The General Dental Council stipulates that implant treatment should only be carried out by a dentist with a recognised postgraduate qualification, so Simon chose to undertake training in this area between 2001 and 2006.
In 2005-2006, Simon travelled and worked overseas in a number of dental practices and returned convinced that focusing on the working environment lets you provide the best possible care for both patients and staff. It was on these principles that he established the Marlow Dental Centre in 2008
